Spinach & Artichoke Dip

Excited for New Years Eve? Attending or hosting a party? Serve this spinach and artichoke dip and no one will even know it’s vegan! It’s the perfect time to whip out this beloved, creamy party food. I can’t think of a better way to ring in the new year. 🙂

I love party food because it’s mostly foods that you would never make to eat at home. They are special because of their novelty, because they lend themselves to sharing, and because they are appealing to a broad range of tastes – perfect to share with your loved ones this holiday.

Thank you for a fantastic 2018 and I wish all of you a wonderful 2019!!

Ingredients
1 package frozen spinach, defrosted and well drained
1 jar artichoke hearts, drained and chopped
1 Tbsp nutritional yeast
1 garlic clove, minced
3/4 cup vegannaise
1 Tbsp bread crumbs
scallions, sliced, for garnish

Instructions
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Mix together spinach, artichokes, nutritional yeast, garlic, and vegannaise and spoon mixture into a pie plate or an oven safe dish. Sprinkle top with bread crumbs and bake in the oven for 20-25 minutes. If you want a more golden brown topping, you can put it under the broiler for an additional 5 minutes. Garnish with sliced scallions and serve with tortilla chips or crackers.
