Pasta Bolognese

This is just a classic staple. You probably have all the ingredients on hand at any given moment, and it’s great for feeding a crowd or for unexpected dinner guests. Everyone loves a dish of pasta, and even better if it’s full of chunky, hearty sauce!

You can use any vegan ground “meat” crumbles you like, but I had some leftover frozen Gardein crumbles so I used those. I made this for myself after getting home late from work and needing something easy, wholesome, and delicious to center and relax me. Pasta was just the thing!

Ingredients
1/2 pound pasta
1/2 jar pasta sauce
1 cup frozen Gardein Crumbles
2 garlic cloves, minced
1 handful spinach
1 tsp Italian seasoning

Instructions
Boil pasta as instructed. Meanwhile, in a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium high heat and add garlic. Cook until starting to brown. Add frozen crumbles and cook for 2-3 minutes, stirring frequently. Lower the heat to low and add sauce, spinach, and Italian seasoning. Stir gently to fold in spinach and let simmer until the spinach is wilted and the sauce warm. Drain pasta, add to the skillet and stir into sauce. Serve immediately. Mangia!
